The Out-of-School Time NYC Reads Toolkit is now live! Developed by the Center for Public Research and Leadership (CPRL) in partnership with DYCD, ExpandED Schools, NYCPS and the Office of Community Schools, this new resource celebrates and builds on the incredible work already happening in afterschool programs, highlighting the powerful role out-of-school time (OST) educators play in students’ literacy journeys.
With ready-to-use tools, planning templates, and real-world spotlights from NYC programs, the toolkit supports OST-school collaboration and joyful, coherent literacy experiences for every child.
