Anesu Masakura
Anesu Masakura is an Evolutionary Learning Associate at CPRL. A CPRL alum and former CPRL Project Associate, Anesu has supported projects focused on strategic planning and literacy ecosystem improvement within two large public school districts. Prior to CPRL, Anesu worked at a grassroots nonprofit in Minneapolis, where he co-designed and fundraised for culturally responsive initiatives to address learning loss and food insecurity in underserved communities of color. He also contributed to policy research and strategy development on universal school meals at The Rockefeller Foundation. Anesu holds an M.P.A. from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs, with a focus on data-driven policy and development practice. He earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and public policy from Carleton College.
