Mara Harwel

Mara Harwel is an Independent Consultant at CPRL. Drawing on her expertise in strategic operations and system design, she supports organizational change, cross-functional project management, and partnership building across the K-12, higher education, and nonprofit sectors. Prior to launching her consulting practice, Mara served as the Senior Director of Operations & Student Support at Providence Public Schools, where she advised senior leadership, overhauled registration and enrollment systems, and led student-based budgeting initiatives. She also spent a decade at Relay Graduate School of Education, most recently as Managing Director of National Strategy & Operations. Mara holds a BA from Yale University, an Executive MBA from the Quantic School of Business, and an MA in Urban Education Policy from Brown University.
